I see a lot of trash produced at events…any chance you recycle and compost at this race?
Thank you for asking! Sustainability is huge for us and we are proud to be one of the few events that support King County’s Zero Waste effort by doing both. We will provide bins with “Recycle” and “Compost” signs next to them at the Start, the Finish, and at all aid stations. Food scraps and food soiled papers are compostable and paper cups, papers, cans, glass containers and plastic bottles are recyclable.
